Northstar Community Services District is completing an exciting new trail project to link Northstar with the Truckee Legacy Trail and the Town of Truckee to the north of Northstar while also providing a pathway to the Tahoe basin to the south of Northstar. The Martis Valley Trail section connecting Truckee to Northstar is now complete to the first roundabout at the entrance to Northstar and in the near future will extend into the Village at Northstar. Longer-term, the trail will connect to the Fibreboard Fwy, the Tahoe Rim Trail, and possible other new proposed trails.
